Halloween Events in Houston for Adults: A Haunted Burlesque Downtown
Houston does Halloween generously for children and for people who enjoy being chased through a warehouse. This one is for everyone else: a couch close to the stage, a proper cocktail, and a cast of professional burlesque performers making a curse look like a very good idea.
Cursed to Flirt: A Haunted Burlesque
Cursed to Flirt is our Halloween show, and it is romance draped in danger. It runs one night only, with two showings.
When: Saturday, October 17, 2026. Choose the 6:30 PM show or the 9:30 PM late show. Doors open 30 minutes before each.
Where: Henke & Pillot, 809 Congress St, on the second floor, in downtown Houston
Who: an all-professional cast, headlined by Medianoche from New York City
Seats: couches and tables rather than rows of chairs. Tickets start at $50, and every front-row couch for two comes with a photo with the cast.
Costumes: welcome. The more glamorous, the better.
Age: 21+
Our Halloween arrives two weeks early this year, which leaves the 31st free for whatever else you have planned.
Early show or late show
The 6:30 PM show suits people who'd like the rest of the evening for a late dinner or a nightcap. The 9:30 PM show is for people who'd rather the night end on the show itself. Same cast, same curse. All you're choosing is how late you'd like to hear it.
Plan your night downtown
Dinner: plan it downtown, before or after the show.
Parking: valet is available at the venue.
Arrival: doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Couches tend to go first, and some of our shows sell out.
Access: the show is on the second floor, and it isn't wheelchair accessible. We'd rather tell you now than at the door.
